Spell Question

Hey yall. When you equip a spell it shows the symbol of it next to the symbol for your wepon. Well under your wepon is the red line for how beat up your wepon is. My question is what is the red line under the spell for? Is it the same concept, do spells get less and less effective as you use them? Thanks yall.

the red line for spells is your chance of casting the spell. If its fully red, then you have a 100% chance.
