DOA 3 Hidden charcthers, What mode to i play to unveal them???

Guys was wondering what mode i play to unveal the hidden charcthers???

Do i just go through story mode and beat it with every guy??

Or what do i have to do?

ONly character i have unlocked is EIN from DOA2.

To do this beat the game with all 16 characters, then go into survival mode with HAYATE. Get high enough to be able to write your name in the scoreboard. As your name wirte EIN. Now he will be unlocked.
