Need Help in Genma Onimusha: Ogre Tower

I am having trouble with the last level of the third portal. It is the one with the 2 HUGE red guys with axes. Just a little bit ago, I made it to that level with full lightning, wind and fire. I unleashed all my magic attacks on them and they still didn't die. I also had used a soul absorber and still they didn't die. Anyone have any suggestions on how to beat these guys?

BTW: My weapons are maxed and I am using the metal armor.

after you use any attack that knocks em down, thats it. you dont have to wait for em to get back up. remember to block a lot, and use your wind. when they fall, get him while theyare down.....

thats the thing...they're not falling down. I used a full power wind when both of them were right on top of me. They wouldn't fall down.

wind should at least back them up.

hmmm. did you try the kick? blocking is the key in that game. block a lot. and the life soul things dont hurt either.
