I was at my local EB store this morning and was talking to a worker about RPG's and he said FABLE will be out around Jan 20. Is this true or is he wrong? I thought it wasnt till the end of the year.

i think he means 2004, which is what I see at ebgames.com but it says here that it ships on January 14th, 2004. Hopefully thats either incorrect or it will get moved up alot.

well,

you have to remeber that the original release date for this game was summer.

then it got pushed back to fall.

then to november.

then to holiday season.

then to "whenever it's ready".

i say it can be completely possible. they have had about two years to work on it, and with the xbox live codec strong, a lot of missions and so on can be downloaded.

it wouldn't be unplausible, but knowing lionhead studios, they wont let the game out until perfection.
