Halo 2 date

There was a thread running around here that informes us that Halo2 was coming out in June. There was a link to EB games that supported that. Today I talked to the general manager of Game Stop, (a local Texas chain of game stores). He said that it was true and it was expected to reach his distributer by June. Well yesterday he recieved notice from his management that Halo2 wouldn't be at his distributer until August of 2003. He said that was for national distribution, not just a local thing. But he felt that there was something wrong with all this, especially the early dates. He said to honestly anticipate the game next Christmas. Don't know if you guys already know this, I just wanted to put this out in the open. If there are any changes, I'll find out. It's good to befriend head managers of game stores. You get the good gossip and early heads up.
