Who had the best launch?

Who had more consoles at Launch Gamecube or Xbox? (figures please!)
And who do you think overall had the better launch?

I went to Circuit City the sunday after the XBox came out. That was also the day the Gamecube came out. The lady there was suprised I got my hands on the XBox, then she said that she was suprised to see all the gamecubes there. She said the XBox sold out in an hour, but there were a ton of Gamecubes there that afternoon.

PS. Ive been arguing with the kid at my school who bought the Gamecube, and it turns out most kids want the XBox over the Gamecube. Also, the only reason I would want the Gamecube is because of Super Smash Bros' Mayla. I have it for 64 and it is sweet.
