Dose anyone know why the controller has that second plug on the cored

LOL! Thats the break-away controler feature. When someone walks by and the trips over the cord, your xbox wont come crashing down, instead the controller will break-away. Its a smart idea. By the way, plug in ur controller and kick the cord while making the cord real tight, the cord breaks away.

Yep. I had the opportunity to "test" that feature within a few days of owning the XBox. It worked like a charm!
