does anyone know what can be about lag? how to reduce it,, if possible

played about dozen games there and only 3 or 4 were lag free

Theres a lot involved when it comes to lag issues.

Im not sure whats up with Gamespy arcades servers. Frankly I am amazed that they even have Xbox support. Looks to me as though before this it was all just a bunch of PC card games and perhaps a few multi player PC games, im not too sure this has been my first time using it.

Cable modem users share bandwith, depending on the time of the day could even factor in. All in all a cable connection is quick indeed but the measure of lag includes all parties playing the game. Not just you ya know?

Im sure when Microsoft gets their servers up and ready the game play should be pretty nice, lag wise.

Gamespy arcade is better then nothing, but dont let it warp your perspective on the "real" Xbox servers yet to come.
