Mortal Kombat or Tao Feng

I didn't play Tao Feng much except I persuaded a guy at eb to pop it in the demo xbox I liked MKDA more just because of the replay value.

I prefer Tao Feng, although the game is mediocre at best. When Soul Calibur 2 comes out both of these will pale in comparison to it IMO.

Mortal Kombat is the best to me even though I haven't played Tao Feng, but I will give it its chance sooner or later. Until then and probably after I've played it, Mortal Kombat will still be the best in my view.

I hate both of them. No, I think Mortal kombat is the better of the 2. I think MK has a lot of good features. I haven't really got into tao feng much yet though.

not to reign on anyones parade, but those that think SC2 will beat them both out, may be mistaken, i didnt like SC2 that much, then again i cant read jap and it was in that language, maybe if i play it a little more when i go back to japan id like it lol

(IMO) Tao Feng is one of those games you absolutely love....or,You absolutely hate. Whenever you release a game that introduces something new or innovative, You take the chance of that innovation being rejected by the gaming public. I applaud them for taking the chance but, the final product is flawed.

I've only played the OXM demo of TF, but I like it's flow better than MKDA. I like fighters like Virtua Fighter and the DOA series where the focus is on the fighting, and not so much the super powers and such.

Simple kicks and punches with good flow is what makes a fighter good to me. And TF seems like my kind of fighter. Not to mention the better graphics, and larger fighting arenas. If it's going for $20 used, I'm with it.
