DDE's in ESPN Football

Does anybody else get dirty disc errors often?? most of the time it fixes itself, but it seems to happen when it can't find audio files (or whatever) For instance i'll get a good run, then there'll be no audio and i'll start the next play. I wont be able to hike the ball then the black screen of death pops up. "There's a problem with the disc you're using...." It'll come back and the announcer will be like "...breaks a tackle.. First down!" or something to that effect. Not really a major problem, a bit embarrasing when my PS2 owning friends come over, but it's only a minor hindrance. Just checking to see if it's really my disc.. It's also scratch free BTW.

grrrrrrrrrrr.. I paused the game to write this then it does it again. 3 quarters down the drain..

I've never had that problem and bought my XBOX on launch day. I've heard of people having problems lately with games and their machines though. I am not a really heavy user, maybe 1 or 2 hours at a time 4 days a week.
