When you use LAN, or link up or whatever, do u have to have two tv's in the same room and two xbox's or could you be on the other side of town?

Well, if you had a cable that long, I guess you could play from across town. LOL
Seriously though, the cable will provbably be under 12 feet long. You have to be connected directly via the cable. You can buy longer cords but not long enough to reach across town.

Beware the drunk, belligerent, monkeys with sharp teeth... they're watching.
Well, being on the other side of town is where the internet play comes in. You'll more than likely have to wait until Spring of 2002 to do this with a broadband connection.
Until then you can just play on the same Xbox or have two TV's and two Xbox's connected via the CAT5 cable so you can LAN.
