    Default About Cd cleaners

    Ok well i work in a gamestore and i hope u people know about those disk cleaners. It sais that it supposed to clean ure disk and make it work but what is actually does is that it scratches a whole top layer off the disk and it just ruin them. i defenetely dont reccomend that piece of **** and if u have then just chuck it in the bucket...

    Are you talking about the skipDR, or gameDR, or whatever other name they go by? If so, it worked just fine for my PS games and it is supposed to take off the top layer, says it on the box or in the instructions.

    Yea, my DiscDR says on the box that it will take off the top layer of the CD to get rid of minor scratches, fingerprints, and other things. But you will have to clean the disc many times because CD's have many layers.

    i just bought a dvd drive cleaner and its made my games work 10 times better with scratches and all.
