I am attempting to connect and I have Ethernet Cable Category 5 Patch Cable. The xboxs are not seeing each other. What should I do?

If it is xbox to xbox, make sure it is a crossover cable. You can tell by looking at both endeds. One side, the wires should be in a opposite order.

If its not a crossover you can pick one up at like best buy for like 10$ or something like that.

Or run it through your network if you have one.
