Default GameLink™ X-Link Category 5 Ethernet Cable Extension?

I just bought the GameLink™ X-Link Category 5 Ethernet Cable yesterday thinking it would be long enough, but I thought wrong. So I was wondering if anyone knew of an extension cable for this cable or maybe a different cable that already comes longer? By the way it is a 10 ft cable. Any help you can offer me will be appreciated.

Any standard Ethernet Cat-5 crossover cable will work, that's all the system link cable is. You can get them up to around 300 feet if you need. Check CompUSA or any computer store.

Its true to an extent. You buy a bulk amount of the wire, and you put the ends on. Its is fairly easy once you know how. If you only need 1 peice of wire though, it would not be cheaper.

You need to buy a tool to clamp the ends on (maybe $10) and at least 2 ends ($.50 - $1) then the bulk cable. If you plan on needing alot, this is the best way to do it, or if you need a large length, this is also usually the method of choice.
