Star Wars:Battlefront Screens!
Oh dear god those are bad. Why do they develop for PS2 first!?
How can these look so much worse than the ones JJaX posted yesterday? I guess they're just showing the game in some of its more complicated scenery in these screens. I blame the PoS2 release on the low quality of these screen shots. Of course, the graphics could improve markably by launch. Maybe the sprites are just temporary.

Wow, are they using the same engine from Shadows of the Empire? Even Jedi Outcast looks better than those shots. Were these leaked? I can't imagine LucasArts releasing these lousy images.
Consider any interest I had for this game gone.

Ok a couple of things..
1st screenshots never do a game full justice so lets just wait till we see it in person. Anyway it really doesnt look that bad to me.
2nd Gameplay and fun factor of a game will outweigh amazing graphics anyday for me. Anyone else feel that way?
At least its quite detail for a first person game.
Easy to pick up, hard to put down.

JJaX's shots look a lot better, must be from an Xbox or good PC. But those other shots are terrible by comparison. Either they're from a much earlier build of the game or they're from a crappy PC or PS2.

Its like Counter Strike. Its not a looker but it does have some great gameplay.
Easy to pick up, hard to put down.

Snow speeder
Speeder Bikes
X-wings
Y-wings
Tie fighters
Jedi Star fighters
Imperial Shuttles
Tauntauns
Trade Federation Tank
Republic Gunship
Keep in mind some of these vehicles have multiple seating. Example, the snow speeder on Hoth. One person pilots, the other is the tow cable gunner.
Also, dont be surprised to see an AI controlled Darth Vader or Luke jump into the middle of a battle. Details will come soon enough... :wink:

Damn JJax, you just sparked the super star wars fan inside me. I can't wait.
I just wonder though, will the starship battles leave the planets atmosphere? Or will it all be done in-atmosphere? Craziness I tell you.

BUt that would be really cool. If one base was on a planet, and the enemy base was a space station.
