deus ex - any good?

i got this game for xmas and have played it for about 4-6 hours, but still can't decide if it's great, mediocre, or crappy... it definitely has my interest, but i got bored with the first one about 3/4 of the way through... afraid the same things going to happen. does it get better??

It gets better, but it is ultimately a game you'll only play once, maybe twice. My 2nd run through I got bored w/ it, but for some reason can't bring myself to trade it.
