Korean developer Phantagram, partially acquired by software publishing giant NCSoft last year, is now an independent company again, according to an announcement issued today. Phantagram has bought back the 70% stake it sold to NCSoft last August, and is once again going it alone.
Though Phantagram once had several projects in the works, its slate of titles has contracted down to only one. The action-strategy hybrid Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders for Xbox is now Phantagram's sole focus. Where that leaves its other key project, the Xbox/PC online RPG Shining Lore, remains to be seen.

This is really nice I always thought NCSoft really brought them down after buying 70percent stake going out to cancel all their games just wasn't the right thing to do. Now that Phantagram is back again they can concentrate on their own games again and stronger ties with Ms can be forged. Ijust hope they will soon atleast this year be able to attend to Duality and Strident.
