PGR 2 question

I've had the game for sometime now but never enjoyed playing it because I was always losing even on the novice level.
Well, that's kinda history now because I gained some tokens and bought a faster car to win by first race in kudos challenge. The game is somewhat fun now. I've realized the key to winning races is having better cars than your opponents...obviously.

Enough, my question is it recommended I buy the best car in each challenge right from the beginning or just hold on and save my tokens for later. And buy one of the best cars at later challenges when the game gets tougher? I'm in my second challenge (sports convertibles) now.

novice? well u'll get a hang of the controlls and u'll be playing on silver or gold. but to answer ur question, yes, buy the fastest car in each car category. u dont have to buy anything else and its best to save ur kudos for later.
