Is there any conceivable way to trun of the flippin Catch Up mode on career mode? it pisses me off when i have an eight second lead and i hit one corner and then VVRRROOOOOMM!! there foes a crappy neon passing my skyline.

Well I just went and looked for about ten minutes and couldn't find anything. I kinda gave up on that game for that reason. No matter how big of a lead you had, the other cars always caught up. Like a Neon can keep up with a skyline or a supra, or a buick century for that matter.
I know you can on quick race, but i was flippin through the strat guide and it said that it was on by default. But that usually means that you can turn it off. Nothing more frustrating than leading seven laps to run ointo the wall once and have ten minutes of your life just gone down the shi**er.
