DVD Playback issues (vert. lines)

i'm getting vertical lines about a quarter of the way in from the left of the TV screen. i try using RCA and the RF (all the TV handles :P ) and i still get the same problem. any suggestions? only does it on DVD playback. TIA

The only way you could be sure it was an Xbox problem would be to connect it to a different tv, U could try connecting it to a VCR just as a test. U'll get the Macrovision darkening and brightening but U'll be able to see if its indeed your Xbox or something weird with your TV.

did all that...i've pretty much narrowed it down to the xbox playback...

Sorry to hear that, since u've basically exhausted all other possibilities then U might as well return it to the store or Microsoft depending on your purchase situation.

It might just be a bad AV pack.
