Xbox cd chip, to read ntsc format?

is there a Cd like the play station , that u enter to the machine and after that it can read burned cd, or ntsc format and so ?

I know this kind of question is annoying, but in my country a game cost like one hundred dollar, so It kinda pricy..

i guess not, cos with the playstation it popped open and u cud kepp it 'reading', but with xbox you cant do that.
