Uh... Isn't it ashame. I think it is way too soon. Usually rushing something that big is not a good idea. They better hope that they have any glitches worked out before the launch.

This is definetly to soon. I can't afford it. Sh*t I eat ramen noodles for lunch and dinner. Oh well though, when I Am ready to buy it it will be cheaper atleast. I didn't buy the xbox at launch last year and I won't buy xenon at launch either.

Yeah I'm going to wait out for a while until they get rid of any possible defects like for example the Thompson ROM... Not that I have a problem with mine yet [knock on wood]. I don't want to find out later on that the chip can blow up if it gets too hot... hehehee j/k

Unless there is about at least a handful of new must-have integrated games coming out on launch... I'll settle for an extended warranty just in case.

What I really mean is I'm in no rush to get it...

Yeah same here. I just don't play enough xbox to do that again, plus it wasn't just $300 for the xbox at launch, most places made you buy bundles to get it so it came to something like $520 when I bought mine. Ouch!

I'll wait it out and see what Sony offers. The PS2 didn't offer anything new at the time which is why I never went with that. But the PS3 should, as well as the Xbox 2. Going to be an interesting year.
