which football game?
hi all, ya i said in another thread how i was gonna get all 3 footbal games this year (ESPN, Madden, and NCAA) but now that i realize it, i dont hav the money to get em...
so my question is first: would u get NCAA or Madden becuz i can only afford one $50 game, then when i get one of these, should i get ESPN still for $20??
also if n e one really knows alot about the 3 it would eb nice to list the main reasons to get each game and even the differences between the 3 games....
I don't really know the differences for each new 2005 game... I don't know if there is much a difference from 2004 going on 2005. But if I had to pick one I would choose Madden2005. I guess because I would be more familiar with the players and teams... They will both be on Live!

i'd say pick up college football first, and then scrape up 20 bucks and get espn nfl2k5 when it comes out....but if you can only get one, then hold out for nfl2k5. i think most here will agree. madden is gonna seem lame compared to nfl2k5.
there's threads in this forum that have discussed all three games if you look back.
20 bucks for ESPN is like a no brianer.

Well since buying nfl2k4 last year I am going to get 2k5 this year. Besides with all the updates and for $20 you really can't loose.
Yea dawg, ESPN 2K5 is gonna lay waste to madden! And like ya fellow XBAs' pointed out its only 20 beans! How could you possibly loose.
Get NCAA 2005 and ESPN 2005. No point in getting both NFL games and ESPN is 30 bucks cheaper. Also if you read the articles posted recently about ESPN and Madden you'll see ESPN should come out a clear cut winner in gaming enjoyment
Hey man I am in the same situation, but I have already made my mind up. First and foremost NCAA 2005 is just whole differant animal. It is a must have for me with all of the tradition and loyalty we all have toward our college teams. As far as the pro game I will get ESPN. I have always been a huge supporter of EA Sports and have loved the Madden game until last year. ESPN kicked the s**t out of Madden. And I am sold on ESPN, last years game rocks and is still the only game I play today. Piss on Madden I have heard those same game commentaries for like 10 years. His time has passed, they need to get rid of him and go with a whole new name and stick a different voice in the game. End of story Madden, your as old as my grandfathers buckskin condems.

Well after reading the details of Madden's online features I may have to spend the 50 for it.
I certainly wouldn't say they features are worth 50 bucks after already having ESPN. Like I said before, don't get 2 NFL games. Get NCAA over Madden. It's a blast and IMO the best football game period.Originally Posted by TRIR-XBA

ok well also i was wondering if the online for madden is gonan cost money cuz theres sumthin on the site sayin that fantasy leagues r 10-100 dollars!! so if it costs that much to play multi then ill 4 sure stick with NCAA and ESPn (although i most likely will n e wayz)
No the fantasy league stuff is completely seperate from Madden.
