i am on the checkpoint where it says "make you way past the gaurds and escape on the ship" i have eliminated the garuds but i cannot board the ship. PLEASE HELP

If you eliminate all the enemies, then it should open on its own.

You probably didn't take out those mech things. Just give 'em a couple shots with the shotgun, and you're good to go. I remember thinking that was the end, but it's definitley not.
