I'm sick of this ****. On every ESPN sports title this year once you create your profile you'll have to select your favorite team. However, in NHL 2K5, whenever I'm challenged every user will see my team (Toronto) and my record (kickass) they ALWAYS change to Colorado or Detroit. I'm sick and tired of playing the same teams over and over. If your favorite team is montreal, ****ing stick with that team and don't be such a ****ing *****.

If anyone plays NHL 2K5 online and doesn't use those teams then add me and lets get a few games going.

j/k I know what you mean, it's the same thing with Football. I pretty much just play with a friend now and we do random teams. It's more fun and adds more variety IMO.

I play it man.....and i use my team the Canucks!! If the person i am playing has Vancouver selected and they are hosting i use Toronto.

I hate hockey but its the same exact thing with NFL 2k5...all the dudes I have been playing against lately have had teams like the bears or some other sucky team as their profile team and then in the game they show me that they have jumped on the bandwagon by picking a team like the Patriots or the Panthers just because they went to or won the Super Bowl last year...how gay is that??

i play the chiefs no matter what. i love their offense, but i have to live with their defense.

i do the same with the dolphins, their D is a stick.. But their offense is limited, if i get my a.s.s handed to me, so bet it, but i keep it real... I sometimes play with the jags, because they are a fun team..

I usually only choose colorado if the opponent chooses detroit. If not i pick leafs or flames.

If anyone has noticed the overall rankings of the teams from 1st to 30th in nhl is only separated by 5 or so points... so it's not that big of a dip.. I play with the penguins and stay true to them..even though their highest rated player is 89.. I get owned pretty bad by the really good players and its 50/50 with solid players...depends on if i get a lucky bounce or not.

I agree with Stifler.. I hate when people play as Colorado or Detroit when it isn't their favourite team.. I always play as Toronto when I'm not in a league game where I'm Nashville.
