    Default System link question

Do you need a special cable or can you use any Cat-5 cable?

If you have to have a crossover cable or a 'system link' cable, can you use a coupler to extend it? The System link cables in the EB and Gamestop store are too short! I was told I should use a crossover with a coupler and attach a regular(non-crossover) CAT5 to the coupler in order to link them.

Also, I need this setup by Sunday so ordering online is OUT.

    Lttle H-E-L-P!

Is this for more than two Xboxes?

    Thumbs up

You can use a Cat5 cable....

Crossover if your only hooking up two systems....

Straight through (regular Cat5) if your hooking up more than two systems with a Hub or Router....

If you already purchased your short cable a coupler should work...

If not, I suggest going to your nearest computer store and buying the appropriate length of Cat5e cables...

    Have fun!
