    hey all,




    instead of buying a link cable i bought a cat-5


    does it have to be a special type of cat-5 cord? or will any do??

    Yes, it needs to be a crossover cable, not just a regular network cable. This is of course if you are linking two xboxes together. Otherwise a regular cat5 cable will work if you are going to say a hub.
