Best Storyline in a game

I know the selection isn't that big but these are some of the best 3.

i never really understood the story line to doa3 i think they should of made a dvd of the story an gave it out with the xbox bundles instead of some stupid amped soundtrack

Max Payne is classic Film Noir and for that it works.

Otherwise I really liked the storylines to the Half Life trilogy. The first being the best.

max payne has the best story in a videogame, the story is just so deep, and when u think its almost over, something else comes along that is very intersting. it would probly make a good movie.

Heh, Im just kidding man.

But yeah, that is completely true about the Max Payne story. Your going through Part I, then your thinking it is almost over. Then WHAMMO there is a little subplot. Which builds up more of a game.
