XBOX Remote

I just read the post where the guy had the Xbox in his car, and it made me think. Is it possible to attach the remote control sensor to an old controller cable so that you could mount it up front?

you could always mod the thing (the IR thing not the xbox), you can crack it open and attach the extention cables wires to the inside of the IR, other then that i dont see another way

My camera phone pics are crappy so you cant see the dvd dongle on the dash. All you really need is an xbox extension cable cord that looks like this:
It connects to the xbox and the other end connects to the remote control sensor (dvd dongle). I got mine on ebay, there really cheap, like $5-10 for a pair. I have my xbox behind the drivers side seat and have the remote control sensor (dvd dongle) mounted in the dash.
