Does anyone know if Xbox 360 is going to be reverse compatible

Have any official announcements been made? If the next xbox isn't reverse capatible, I don't think I'll be buying it until alot of good games have come out...

BTW, I think "Xbox Next" sounds alot better than "Xbox 360".

Well, right now rumer says it will, we'll all know on the 12th. Xbox Next is good for now, but wouldn't make any logical sense as a real name...

I really hope it is .... I think it will benefit the sales (on a minor note)....and It would be a lot more convinient to pop in halo or something without having to reconnect the old xbox....because i doubt i'll stop playin xbox because the 360 is out . I've got my fingers crossed. =)
