May 18, 2005 - When Hironobu Sakaguchi's new Mistwalker studio first announced support for Xbox 360, the first thing we wondered was what type of games the studio would produce. Now that we've been introduced to Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, the next question comes to mind: when will we get to play these games?
Sakaguchi has revealed to the Japanese games press that Xbox 360 fans won't have to wait too long for the two titles. First ruling out a possible release at the Xbox 360's Japanese launch in December, Sakaguchi goes on to promise that both titles will be released in Japan within a year of the launch.
While this is a big time frame, it's much better than the three years Xbox users in Japan have waited for a true Japanese RPG to hit their system (still waiting!). Let's hope Microsoft America brings us a quick localization for both games so we don't have to wait too long either.
Yes, I think MS would do well to have a North American release within weeks of the japanese version.
