    Default Windows Media Center Advantages?

Does anyone know the advantages of using the 360 with a MCE PC compared to a regular XP PC?

I'm not sure. I MCE it makes it a lot easier to transfer media to your 360.

All my computers are running MCE. I'm not the biggest fan of it for some things, but for others it is ok. It is more like a program that you can run vs. a full-fledged new operating system.

It has a hard time reading and sorting my music library. dbPoweramp and Winamp do a much better job. Even WMP 10 does better than MCE, which seems strange to me. I wish the two were more integrated.

The good part about the XBox2 acting as an extender is the access to all of your media files from your TV. I think more people are going to get into Network Attached Storage because of this. It is annoying to have to go turn on your main storage server, or whatever PC holds you music/movies, just so you can access it somewhere else. NAS will be great for people once they figure out what it is and what it can do.
