Xbox won't play new games

I have several games for the xbox all of which work, no matter how scratched up they have gotten, but when I try to play a brand new NBA 2K7 it won't load the game play, it'll take me to the main menu let me mess with stuff but the second it has to load player models it freezes. I don't have this problem with any other game

You should just return it.

I bought CoD 2 and it wouldnt load the capagin when I was half way through it.

That's what I would do just return the game and get the same game or a different one. Do you have COD 2 if so I really recomand it.
