    Talking Developers

    I really want to developer games, but don't if that's a well paying career, what should I do, because I want that money.:o

    Unless you are independent there isn't much chance of making big money. If you are independent the chances of making big money are akin to that of the lottery.

    If you go the corporate route and work for one of the big software companies that haven't yet gone out of business your job will be somewhat secure and will probably pay a decent wage.

    If you are really 22, as your profile suggests, then I assume you haven't been to college and haven't taught yourself the first thing about programming. You've got a great deal of work ahead of you if you're serious about this. Most game developers who are self-taught are master coders by the time they're 22.

    Your best bet is probably college.
