It is sadly and shocking true. There are reparts of Ken Kutaragi cracking into the Live database. His laptop was using Sony batteries so it fried but Kutaragi was vigelent. He called upon David Manning for assistance but he was unavailable. There was a rumor of this on alliwantforchristmasisapsp.com but no one took it seriously.
A Sony representative was reached at a Sony event but was busy serving goat innerds to guests and could not comment further.

I hardly think Sony could be behind any Live issues. Look at how bad PSN is. Sony is still trying to figure that out. The funniest PS3 moment was playing CoD3 on PSN in complete silence because the game doesn't support sound. Add to that the completely dead feel of the rumbleless controllers...
