The time has come around again Pax 2011 in Boston at the The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). I took a little trip down there today on the train. I walked in and tried to take more pictures but this guy saw me and said no pictures until tomorrow so sorry guys you will have to wait until tomorrow to see more. Please let me know if you are going. I will be there can't wait

Day 1 at Pax 2011 Boston
What a day what a day. Got to the convention center around 9am and went right to the Queue line where there must have been about 5000 people in line already. The wait for the exhibit floor to open up must have been like waiting for your local apple store to open to get an iPad 2. (which I must say did get release today.)

BattleBlock Theater- it was good to see this game here at pax haven't really seen or heard about it much.

Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do

The Gunstringer - This is a Twisted Pixel Game, creators of The Maw, Splosion Man and Comic Jumper, this is an all-new type of Kinect game where you'll puppeteer an awesome skeleton cowboy marionette with your left hand and shoot with your right hand. I can see alot come from this game so please keep an eye out for it.

Below you will see a picture of Fear 3 This game is very cool. I played this mode called F***ing Run
How to play you and your squad must make it to the next safe zone without being overtaken by alma’s wall of death Getting downed isn’t game over. You can be revived while in last stand by your teammates. If any person in the squad is sucked into the wall, It’s game over for everyone You don’t have to kill everyone you just have to outrun the wall You are scored on number of kills. completion time and whether you made it through without entering last stand. (Very fun)

Day 2 at Pax 2011 Boston

Another long day at Pax 2011 Boston. My feet are killing me from all the walking and standing in line. Here are a few things I saw at pax on day 2.

I played a very strange and different XBLA game called TheDishwasherVampireSmile I know a long name. The guy said it will come out April 16, 2011 but looking at a calendar that is a saturday and XBLA don't come out on saturday. hmmmmm

Saw L.A. Norie is an upcoming video game developed by Team Bondi in conjuction with Rockstar Games[6] and published by Rockstar Games. Initially announced as only for the PlayStation 3, the game was later reported to also be scheduled for release on the Xbox 360.[3][7] L.A. Noire is set in "a perfectly re-created Los Angeles" of 1947,[8] with players being given an open-ended challenge to solve a series of murder mysteries.

BattleField 3
Battlefield 3 uses a new type of character animation technology called ANT. ANT technology is used in EA Sports games such as FIFA, but will now be used to create a more realistic soldier. Player models will appear more real with the ability to transition into cover, and turn their head before their body
In the March 2011 issue of Game Informer magazine, they describe how an RPG can hit a building and cause ripple splash damage. The updated Frostbite 2 engine can realistically show how a seven story building would collapse during an earthquake in a pile of smoke and debris. (I must say seeing that today in a demo was AWESOME). Lets me just say Tank, and Drive an Airplane.

I've uploaded pictures of the limited edition consoles I've found so far at PAX East. Sorry that some are blurry. I'll try and get better ones tomorrow.

I also spoke to Rockstar who confirmed they're working on a LA Noir pomotional console. On another interesting note, I spoke to the guys at Behemoth and they said Microsoft made three of the Castle Crashers consoles for the owners of the company. One was destroyed due to an accidental fall leaving two that may (probably not) some day fall in the hands of collectors.

hahaha and no there was no hands on play with this game yet. We just saw the first 6 or 7mins of the opening game. He also touched on the multiplayer which I think will really sell this game.
