"Taiwan-based software developer AnimaTek announced that it will modify 12 Dreamcast games for Sega to support Microsoft’s Xbox game console. AnimaTek is expected to fetch NT$300 million in net profit from the project.

AnimaTek pointed out that it received the contract through its parent company, Cool Net Entertainment (CNE), which formed a strategic alliance with Sega recently. Ever since Sega terminated the Dreamcast and began to focus on game development, the company has wanted to modify some of Dreamcast’s more popular games to suit other game platforms.

AnimaTek is scheduled to unveil the first of the 12 games in July and five others by year-end.

Sega and CNE will oversee worldwide distribution of the games."


As far as the classics remakes are concearned, 4 titles are being produced and one is already 50% complete and running on the Xbox hardware

Yeah let Sega have there way with the XBOX they know how to put out some awesome games and just waiting to find the Shinobi, Shadow Dancer, Streets of Rage, any of the Phanasty Star games I know where getting online but there normal not online games where great gimmie Phanasty Star 2 and 3

Did they make Evelevor Action I loved that game
It's the one where you chose from 3 people and it was 2 player, it had a world in the title

To be honest I still play my DC,.. if fact it gets more Ninja playing time than my Xbox if you can still believe that!

Like someone else said, I hope Shinobi & Streets Of Rage are among the selected classics that will make it way to the Xbox!

Naw Thug, Its hot.

-Your like in these mech things.
-Side scoller
-Known for one of the hardest games ever made
-you die you start the whole level over
-Your shields recharge kinda like halo, but slower and gradual
-1st game i can remember where you had teammates (scrubs) running around with you
-1st level your jupiter moon base is invaded and you gotta evac


Its real hot. I suggest if you have a PC at home you pcik up a genesis emulator and D/L this game!
