I see that plate once in a while. I'm not sure how I have it ranked on the database but it should probably be a $$ out of $$$$$. They were regularly available at retail at a nominal price, and are really only difficult to get because of UK'ers reluctance to ship to the US. I bought mine from someone who had posted "UK Only" on the auction, and I just begged and she agreed to ship it to the US. I think even with all that, I only paid $25 shipped for it.

I'm listing a custom made Nintendo NES Console faceplate. I made it for someone who hasn't gotten back to me in two weeks, so it's up for grabs. The last one I made I ended up trading for a Need For Speed Pro Street faceplate that someone else later sold a similar plate for five hundred bucks.

There it is. The Toy Story Aliens plate. Starting bid, $99 and that's a freakin' steal if you've read how much work there is in one of those things. This one was actually harder because the last one had the arm practically built. I had to build this arm and claw entirely by hand.

Over 300 people have seen that NES faceplate auction, and with 50 minutes left, there are still no bidders.

I totally don't get it. Is everybody that broke? I mean, I'm already to the point that I'm not making new plates just to list on eBay. The last few plates I've listed are all plates that I made for people who bailed and never got back to me.

That was supposed to help pay for the E3 trip next week.
