Overall: Operation Flashpoint: Elite is probably one of the best shooters for the XBOX. The game has some of the best simulation features that you can attack from almost anywhere after reaching your LZ. The game can be frustrating but your enemies have some of the best AI, complete with flanking, assaults and other maneuvers. The difficulty, graphics, and lack of other maps cause this to make you want to be able to use the cheats that don't even work.
Gameplay: If you like a solid simulation, look no further. This game is vehicles and weapons galore for your inner soldier. There are jeeps from WWII to the UH-60 Blackhawk. One of the best aspects of the game are the physics, fire an explosive device at a enemy helicopter and it will spin and steadily lose altitude and crash. The only problem with the physics are that your character will lay down and get blown back 20 meters. If you get tired of playing as a US Army soldier do not stop playing because there is faction select in mission creator allowing you to modify maps and clash against enemies or get to know the resources better, there are also non-campaign missions also. Difficulty is a main upset. Even on Easy it's like trying to disprove a liar's paradox. Maps are not the best, there are only 5 of them and only two of them are any good.
Graphics: Not exactly the best to say the least it looks like either WWII photographs or video footage from Vietnam.
Sound: Could be a lot better. Assault rifles sound like painballs guns, machine guns like automatic paintball guns. The only vehicles things they didn't screw up are ground vehicles & the RPG-7. Everything else sounds like paintballs. :l
Suggestions: In Operation Flashpoint 2 try not to make everything sound like paintballs.
