Gears of War
Overall: Gears of War is an extremely fun game with a terrible storyline. Nobody knows the actual story behind Marcus Fenix and his family. Although a good game, definite room for improvement.Gameplay: Gameplay is very good. Not your typical run and gun shooter, GOW forces you to take cover and use actual tactics to stay alive while killing the crap out of the locusts. Active reload is a genious idea that i think will be used by many game manufacturers in the future. Replay value could be improved by a better storyline and more enemies. Multiplayer is fun but just feels as if it lacks something...
Graphics: The graphics of GOW are jaw dropping. From the chainsaw bayonet splattering grape-jelly blood on the screen to the ever so popular floppy corpses. Visually awesome!
Audio: Sound is one of the biggest faults of the game, along with storyline. Marcus Fenix's voice is just too cheezy. To compliment the cheeziness comes even cheezier comments such as "well we're not here to sell cookies, so they know somethings up." If i were a huge soldier like him, and i said something like that, I would like to be slapped in the face... real hard... by a girl.
Suggestions: GIVE ME A STORYLINE!!! its real fun though

NHL 07
Overall: NHL 07 is the greatest hockey game ever made. I am willing to say that it is borderline best sports game ever. EA has done a great job with the skill stick control. Gameplay: Gameplay is great. The number of times i have been bored playing NHL 07... 0. The number of times i have found myself on the edge of my seat in the third period down by one with 2 minutes to go... 8329930573947939 (numbers estimated) Multiplayer is also good. When i get tired of spanking the computer in dynasty mode, I can stomp someone from canada on xbox live.
Graphics: Visuals are awesome! From the scratches in the ice to the wave of the twine after a hard slapshot. You know the graphics are great if you can actually recognize your favorite players without looking at their numbers or names. My only complaint is fighting. It seems a little cheezy. Overall - Very good
Audio: Sound is possibly the only fault to NHL 07. The announcers get a little repetitive. The soundtrack seems unfit for hockey, too. The noises of a hockey stop, hits, slapshots, and the crowd are great.
Suggestions: Think about xbox live, being able to play 2 player with your friend against someone else.
