Yet Two More Staffers Leave Infinity Ward
At this point, were starting to suspect there might be a large pneumatic tube hidden somewhere in the Infinity Ward offices and connected to wherever Respawn has set up home. G4 reports that two more ex-Infinity Ward staff members -- software engineer Chris Lambert and designer Brent McLeod -- have joined Respawn, the new studio created by ex-Infinity Ward bosses Jason West and Vince Zampella and funded by Electronic Arts.
On top of that, three other Infinity Ward staffers have reportedly announced their departure on their Facebook pages: Lead character artist Joel Emslie and artists Ryan Lastimosa and Brad Allen. And on top of that, Kotaku also reports that lead programmer Robert Field and HR/recruitment specialist Kristin Cotterell have left Infinity Ward as well, bringing a grand total of 26 employees to have left the studio since Vince and Zampella were unceremoniously fired in early March.
None of which is particularly surprising -- analysts have expected more departures from the studio, although at this rate you have to wonder just how many senior staffers will be left at the Modern Warfare 2 developer once the dust finally settles.
