Square Enix Announces Moon Diver
In the Japanese game mags this week, Square Enix took the veils off Moon Diver, a new side-scrolling action game developed by Microsoft-affiliated studio Feelplus. The game, an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive, is due out sometime later this year in Japan; no word on how many points it’ll cost.
Details are still a bit skimpy on Moon Diver, a game that pits teams of up to four ninjas against gigantic creatures in a post-apocalyptic world. You’ll be able to play co-op with people online, of course, and Square Enix is promising a variety of ninja-y combo attacks and multi-person skills, even though you only need two buttons to play the game.
Something like an anime-ninja take on Castle Crashers, then? We’ll have to wait for more details to find out
