Marketing Team Gets a Upgrade
According to Mad.co.uk. two new highly qualified "suits" were added to the Xbox European marketing team in hopes to get everything in order for the European launch early next year. The two new add-ons that have taken the challenge are Michael Newey and Tony Hinchliffe. Newey use to work for Eidos, now has has taken the roll of publishing marketing manager who will be responsible of the marketing activities of Xbox’s publishing partners. Hinchliffe a seven year employee as the European marketing manager at Sega Europe has eased his into the postion of merchandising manager for the Xbox. His duties will have him responsible for the console’s in-store presence.
So it looks like Microsoft has the right game plan for the European launch, let’s hope it was better than the PS2 launch.
