Weekly Unreal Championship update

Taking in the tradition of bungie’s weekly halo updates, Digital Extremes has decided to do a weekly Unreal Championship update, Here’s a clip.

  • Work has started on fine-tuning the weapons. This ranges from the amount of damage they do and how they behave (combo wise) to the weapon effects.
  • This is a tidbit that some of you will get excited about; Dave Ewing is working on Orbital2! What more can I say? :)
  • To add to that, we implemented a system that will show your team symbol on the flags as well. The player will have the ability to choose from a vast library of team symbols. Of course this will show up on your base monitors AND your flag! And if there is way to let the user make team symbols and stick it into the game, we’ll do it. We think that clans will appreciate this feature...
  • Another feature that I want to touch on are the player movement combos. Yes, dodging was very cool, but why not take that further? It is VERY cool to do some spectacular move in the middle of a firefight. Very reminiscent of the Matrix (of course I have to bring that up). Just like dodging; once you do some crazy loop in the air, you’ll never go back to just jumping like a rabbit around the levels. (You will still be able to do that jumping like a rabbit thing btw)
  • But that’s not all!! click here to read the rest!
