Xbox Games at ECTS
This years ECTS trade only event held at Londons ExCeL venue, U.K. will be taking place from September 2nd to the 4th, where gamers will have the chance to play in-development video games and meet the developers demoing those games. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo wont be there, but Xbox developers TDK Interactive (stand 1446), Rage (stand 1424), CDV Software(stand 1610), and Ubisoft will demonstrate their next-generation killer-apps. The four titles we know so far that are coming to Xbox and will appear at ECTS are Shrek, Inline Skating, Gunmetal, and Rayman M.Shrek is TDK Mediactives upcoming 3D action/adventure game based on the hit comedy motion picture that made the folks at DreamWorks all very rich. TDK is working close with DreamWorks to create new storylines and characters for the Xbox version with the same humour and cunning brilliance offered at the movies. Apparently, an ornery ogre named Shrek must rescue the princess from the evil Lord Farquaad and return tranquility to the kingdom. Screenshots.
Gunmetal is Rage Entertainments futuristic 3rd Person Shooter Xbox-exclusive, featuring a handful of Transformer look-alike robots with the ability to freely transfrom from a mech into a jet fighter, allowing you to choose a smart strategy and using it to cause critical damage on the environment. Actually, you get to do all that and save civilizations from extinction. The title is expected to be released for the Xbox in Q1 2002. Screenshots.
Rayman M (Rayman Millenium) takes place in the worlds introduced in Rayman 2, additionally featuring the new four players mode allowing them to compete head-to-head against each other in real-time. Joining characters include Ly, the fairy, and a Globox. All four characters can run, jump, climb, slide, fly, and shoot. So its a game to watch.
As for Inline Skating from TDK, we dont really know too much about that. Click here for more information.
