Next Xbox price reveal will likely be at E3
The countdown is on for the reveal of the Xbox 720. Although the Microsoft event will be happening on the 21st major video game event E3 is just next month. Industry insiders speculate that the big reveal on the 21st will be missing some key information.
Reportedly being held in a big tent in Redmond, Washington the big Microsoft event on the 21st will finally give everyone some solid facts about the next-gen console. However E3 is traditionally where big announcements happen. Analysts seem certain that Microsoft will keep some juicy details for the event, leaving some important information out of the May 21 reveal.
So what will be revealed at the big Microsoft event? Probably the ‘Durango’s’ real name for a start. ‘Xbox Infinity’ is the latest rumored title for the next-gen console. Information about services like Xbox Live and Kinect are also likely to be mentioned during the event.
Information that is probably being saved for E3 includes pricing and a release date. As the last of the major consoles to release their next-gen models its clear why Microsoft doesn’t want to push back their reveal all the way to E3. Hopefully the event won’t disappoint as we finally get some information on the fabled Xbox 720. But we will almost assuredly have to wait until E3 in June to get the full story on the last horse in the next-gen console race.
