WWE streaming service coming to consoles, mobile devices by 2015

World Wrestling Entertainment will launch a "24/7 streaming service" for its content on consoles and other devices Feb. 24, the organization announced at CES.

The service, WWE Network, can be streamed on computers and mobile devices and will have dedicated apps on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 at launch. An Xbox One version of the app is slated to launch this summer.

WWE Network will allow users to stream live shows as well as archived content. In the U.S. monthly subscription fees will be available for $9.99 and include access to all 12 yearly pay-per-view WWE events — including Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survival Series and WrestleMania — and an "extensive" library of uncensored archived shows that can be viewed on-demand. More than 1,500 hours of this content will be available on launch day, with more to be added in the future.

Fans can purchase the service beginning at 9 a.m. ET on launch day, with video-on-demand content available immediately and the first live programming airing the same day at 11:06 p.m. ET following Monday Night Raw.

The WWE Network will launch in the U.S. first, and is slated to hit Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Scandinavia and the U.K. by the end of this year or early 2015.
