Xbox game Rentals
When Microsofts Xbox launches on November 15th, RedOctane.com the leading online video game rental service, will have all of its launch titles available for rental. The Xbox games will be available online for the standard 7-day rental price of $6.95. Members of the RedOctanes G2 Program will have unlimited access to Xbox games for a monthly fee of $16.95."By offering RedOctane customers the option to rent Xbox games, were continuing to expand their gaming options," explains Kai Huang, CEO of RedOctane. "Were sure that most people wholl buy an Xbox will initially purchase 2 to 3 game, but with over 20 games available at the time of the systems launch, we feel our service is of great value to gamers. Our G2 Program is perfect for Xbox owners because it lets them play as many Xbox games as they want without worrying about due dates and late fees."
Roughly 20 game titles by various publishers will be available on November 15th and RedOctane will carry them all. Some of the biggest titles thatll be available at the Xbox launch include Halo, Oddworld: Munchs Odyssey, and NFL Fever 2002. With support from a number of Japanese and European game makers, as well as most North American game publishers, Microsoft looks to have an extensive game library by the spring of 2002.
In conjunction with the release of the Xbox, RedOctane will also be giving away an Xbox system in November.
