Power Puff Time!
Point of Purchase magazine posted up news today regarding Bam! Entertainment, one of the 150+ developers announced for the XBOX, is busily in production of 3 games based on Cartoon Network based shows. Here’s the blatant cut and paste job (though we always link back to our source unlike some others).This holiday season, The Powerpuff Girls are jumping off the television screen and into three new video games from bam! entertainment. bam!, an entertainment software publisher, has announced it has secured exclusive rights to publish video games based on popular Cartoon Network properties, including the The Powerpuff Girls, Yogi Bear and Dexter’s Laboratory."bam! Is bringing some of the biggest names in animated TV into the interactive entertainment space for the first time," says Ray Musci, president and COO, bam! "We will leverage strategic partnerships with leading entertainment and sports brands, as well as our original content development studio, to deliver games for all ages on the leading platforms, including the next generation gaming systems."
The launch of the Powerpuff Girls video games is being supported with a multi-million dollar marketing campaign including television and online promotions and an interactive, in-store merchandising program.
