Destiny 2 Playable for Free on Xbox One This Weekend
Destiny 2 has faced a lot of criticism since its release last year. Since then Bungie has released a few expansions (some would say game updates) and is slated to release a new expansion to kick of Season 2 in September. Well, given all the news this week, Microsoft and Activision are given would be guardians a chance to play Destiny 2 for free over this coming weekend.
Starting Thursday, June 7 at 9:00 a.m. PT and running through to Sunday, June 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT, Xbox Live Gold members in Xbox One markets can play the game on the Xbox One for free. It was also noted that gamers can pick up Destiny 2 through the Microsoft Store at a 67% discount, as well as the Destiny 2 game + Expansion Pass Bundle at a 35% discount, to continue their gameplay experience after the Free Play Days event ends. As a bonus, if you check out the game during the Free to Play weekend, player’s saved progress and earned achievements will be waiting for your return.
